About Me

Theatre director, writer and dramaturg.

I have an MFA degree in theater directing and a BA degree in acting, both from Tel Aviv University. I also hold an MA in Philosophy, with my dissertation focusing on Hannah Arendt.

In recent years, I have served as Head Dramaturg at the Khan Theater in Jerusalem, where I also direct productions. My directing work extends to the Tmuna Theater, Tel Aviv University Theater, and other venues. This coming year, an original play of mine will premiere at Israel’s national theater, Habima. In addition, I will be teaching two courses in the Department of Theater Arts at Tel Aviv University — one on dramaturgy and another on Greek tragedy.

As a director, projects include the Hebrew premiere of Bertolt Brecht's "Fatzer" in Tel Aviv; an adaptation of Olga Tokarczuk's "Drive your Plow over the Bones of the Dead"; an adaptation of Marguerite Duras' "La Douleur" in the Acco Festival for Alternative Theatre (Special Distinction Award); a short film for the International Brecht Festival in Augsburg, Germany; "The Caucasian Chalk Circle"; "Jane Eyre"; and more. As a translator, projects include "The Resistible Rise of Arutro Ui" (Brecht); "Jane Eyre" (Brontë); a stage adaptation of "La Peste" (Camus); and "The Idiots" (Von Trier). As an actor I've appeared in various theater productions, also portraying the starring role of Marat Parkhomovsky's film "Tel Aviv".

In 2023, I worked as a Praktikant on the production "Mein Gott, Herr Pfarrer", directed by René Pollesch at the Volksbühne Theater in Berlin, as part of an extended artist residency supported by the Goethe-Institut. I also served as dramaturg for a production of "The Dybbuk" with the German theater collective KULA and taught in the Department of Theater at Goethe University in Frankfurt.
